Keep Cool with Sun Safety Tips from the CDC

Sun Safety Tips from the CDC & Mr. B'sThis summer has been HOT. Which means you need to keep your backyard even cooler. Here are some tips from the CDC for sun safety.

Shade

Keep cool this summer using an umbrella, a tree, any kind of shade. Mr. B’s has umbrellas that go with our furniture collection, and also floating umbrellas to go in the pool. Stay cool poolside and inside the pool with our shady accessories.

Clothing

It might be hot, but it’s OK to cover up with light-weight shirts, cover-ups, sunglasses, and hats! Sunglasses and hats offer shade for your face, and are stylish. Check out more clothing tips from the CDC.

Sunscreen

This is the one we all know, but often forget. Sunscreen saves your skin. If you can’t be in the shade, don’t have a floating pool umbrella, and want to enjoy the cool waters, throw on some sunscreen first. The CDC recommends an SPF of at least 15, reapplying sunscreen, and checking expiration dates. You can pick up at bottle at Mr. B’s when you come in for your umbrella!

Keep the whole family cool and shaded this summer, and keep the family fun going even in the hot weather.
